Get an email when a friend marks the same upcoming showtime as attending after you have already joined. This is enabled by default and can be turned off under Email Preferences in your profile, independently of marketing emails. Repeat joins do not send duplicate notifications.

Receive push notifications for friend requests and acceptance, screening invitations and responses, activity comments and hearts, and friends joining your showtimes. Enable each device under Push Notifications in your profile, then choose which categories you want. Push settings are separate from email preferences. On iPhone and iPad, open MovieMan from its Home Screen icon to enable notifications; iOS 16.4 or newer is required. Device setup now confirms registration with MovieMan before showing notifications as enabled. Notification headings describe the event without repeating the app name.

Films I’m Going To now shows every upcoming screening you’re attending across all theatres, even beyond the selected Next 14, 28, or 56 Days window. Screenings are grouped by date and ordered by time instead of split into theatre comparison columns. Switching back restores your previous date and comparison settings.

The activity feed starts with the last 30 days. Use Show older activity to browse earlier entries when you want them. Smaller pages, cached recent activity, and fewer listings lookups help the feed load faster. Comments on older posts do not move those posts into the recent feed, and notification links still open the relevant activity.

Activity titles now always show language and version details, including Korean and Japanese subtitled listings, on mobile as well as desktop. Separate likes for different versions remain separate entries, with their existing hearts and comments preserved.
